Acrylic Painting Workshop

  • Time: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm (3 hours)
  • Location: MAC Glenferrie Studio – Level 1, 817B Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn
  • Course fee: $109 inc. GST

 

Artist and MAC teacher Camila Quintero will introduce participants to key acrylic painting techniques for painting from life with a focus on colour; colour mixing, tonal value and application. Children will then be encouraged to explore these techniques in creating their own acrylic painting.

This workshop will be limited in places to ensure Camila can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.

Camila Quintero (MA in Fine Arts from RMIT Australia, BA in Fine Arts from Universidad Nacional Colombia) specialises in painting and drawing.

Maria Camila Quintero was born in Medellín, Colombia, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Camila then travelled to Australia in early 2017 to undertake her Master’s degree at RMIT, completing her degree with Honours.
