Animal Illustration Workshop
Rachael Hammond specialises in detailed illustrations of animals. During this workshop Rachael will guide students through the making of an illustration of an animal. She will demonstrate some of the techniques she uses in various media including watercolour and colour pencil.
A one and half hour structured workshop introducing animal illustration, step by step will be followed by a break. Then a further 75 minute studio art style session will continue, whereby children will be encouraged to explore the making of their own artwork.
Places are limited to ensure Rachael can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.
Rachael Hammond is a Melbourne based illustrator, artist and graphic designer with over 20 years experience. Her art focuses on wildlife, botanical and natural history.

Lovers of traditional Japanese art will be familiar with the red stamp or seal often seen on paintings or documents. This seal is used in place of a signature and forms an important part of traditional Japanese culture.
