Artist and MAC teacher Camila Quintero will work with participants to set the foundation for drawing the portrait. Students will be introduced to the process of drawing the portrait including:
Camila Quintero (MA in Fine Arts from RMIT Australia, BA in Fine Arts from Universidad Nacional Colombia) specialises in painting and drawing.
Maria Camila Quintero was born in Medellín, Colombia, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Camila then travelled to Australia in early 2017 to undertake her Master’s degree at RMIT, completing her degree with Honours.

Olivia will take students in school grades 3 to 6 through the fundamentals of sketching animals, watercolour and gouache painting and colours, before supporting students in creating an 'Under The Sea' character of their own. Students will work on facial expressions, gestures, fun props and even jaunty hats and accessories, to create characters unique to their own imagination.

MAC Glenferrie Studio, Hawthorn
This is a specialised course in painting and drawing for children in school grades 3 to 5. It is an ongoing course which focuses on the development of foundational techniques for painting and drawing, combined with a mentoring style support for children producing their own artwork. Participants can work in the drawing or painting media of their choice. Teachers will also work with parents and guardians to find the right balance of technical/ creative for their child.
