Level: Beginner/Intermediate/All levels
Ages: This workshop is for children in school grades 5 to 8. Younger children can enroll in Manga for Grades 3 – 6, or older children can enroll in or Manga for Teens.

Camila Quintero will introduce a brief history of Manga and will then step participants though the fundamental elements of the Manga style. She will guide students to develop their own Manga self portrait character during this positive, fun and supportive workshop.
Each workshop will have limited places to ensure Camila can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.
Camila Quintero is a Colombian born artist based in Melbourne who specialises in drawing and painting. She holds and MA in Fine Arts from RMIT Australia, and BA in Fine Arts from Universidad Nacional, Colombia.

This is a specialised course in painting and drawing for children in school grades 3 to 5. It is an ongoing course which focuses on the development of foundational techniques for painting and drawing, combined with a mentoring style support for children producing their own artwork. An illustration and watercolour watercolour with an 'African Animals' theme, designed for school children in grades 3 to 5 and taught by Amanda Weatherlake, a Melbourne-based artist who specialises in watercolour wildlife illustration. The workshop focuses on the development of key foundational techniques for illustration and watercolour. The children will be guided and supported whilst creating their own African Animal characters. Suitable for all skill levels, this class is a good balance of the technical and creative.
