Olivia York, a Melbourne-based artist and illustrator, specializes in creating whimsical watercolour animal characters with an Australian touch. Her work has been featured in various media, including books, packaging, homewares, and magazines like Better Homes and Gardens and Frankie. Olivia has collaborated with renowned brands like House, Lalaland, Nutella, and Auspost.
How did some of the greatest artists of all time begin a painting? Contemporary painter Saffron Newey will lead you though the fundamentals of Grisaille, and demonstrate how artists such as Da Vinci, Titian, Vermeer and Rembrandt created such memorable work. A great course for beginners and those that are wanting to improve their painting.

This is a specialised course in painting and drawing for children in school grades 5 to 7. It is an ongoing course which focuses on the development of foundational techniques for painting and drawing, combined with a mentoring style support for children producing their own artwork. Participants can work in the drawing or painting media of their choice. Teachers will also work with parents and guardians to find the right balance of technical/ creative for their child.
