We welcome complete beginners as well as more experienced artists who want to revisit the fundamentals of portraiture. If you are interested in portraiture, this course is perfect for you. The course will be taught by portraiture artist and teacher Marco Corsini. Students will be introduced to the process of drawing the portrait.

This is a technical course and students will be introduced to the following processes of portraiture drawing:

  • Structure of the head
  • Understanding the form of the face
  • Drawing fundamentals
  • Colour and skin

An illustration and watercolour workshop with a 'Reptiles and Amphibians' theme, designed for school children in Grades 3 to 5 and taught by Rachael Hammond, a Melbourne-based artist who specialises in detailed illustrations of animals. During this workshop Rachael will guide students through the making of an illustration of reptiles and amphibians. She will demonstrate some of the techniques she uses in various media including watercolour and colour pencil.

This is a specialised course in painting and drawing which focuses on the development of foundational techniques, combined with a mentoring style support for children and teens producing their own artwork. These classes are for students who are interested in creating outside of regular school hours and would like to further develop their artistic skills. We aim to nurture our students’ natural artistic ability and interests, whilst also teaching the fundamentals of art practice.
