April Watercolour Flow Workshop

  • Date: Monday 17th April
  • Time: 6:00 – 8:30 pm (2.5 hours)
  • Location: MAC Glenferrie Studio (Level 1, 817B Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn)
  • Course fee: $80 inc. GST

 

This workshop is presented by artist and teacher Amanda Weatherlake. Students will be introduced to basic watercolour painting techniques such as colour mixing, laying washes, colour glazing and lifting out, to set the foundation for watercolour painting.

Students will experiment with techniques that are discussed and demonstrated during class in a relaxed and collaborative environment. We maintain small class sizes to ensure Amanda can offer one-on-one tuition.

Amanda Weatherlake is a practicing artist specialising in watercolour wildlife illustration. She is extremely passionate about creating whimsical images, filled with colour and imaginative compositions.  Amanda has Bachelor of Education (Primary) majoring in Visual Art and has an extensive knowledge of implementing and teaching visual arts with primary school aged children, and adults.
