Illustration Workshop
In this engaging 3-hour Illustration Workshop you will learn the skills and techniques of contemporary illustration from artist Sarah Wolf. Working with pencil, pen, watercolour & gouache, you will explore a range of mediums.
Participants will engage in a range of techniques and materials to explore illustration of different subjects ranging from still life, photographic references and the imagination.
Sarah will draw on her experience as a professional artist to provide feedback regarding participants’ individual styles and creative inclinations. This workshop will be limited to ten places to ensure Sarah can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.
Participants will experiment with techniques that are discussed and demonstrated during class and will have the opportunity to use them in an artwork they create.
Sarah Wolf is a prize-winning multidisciplinary artist working across the fields of painting, drawing and printmaking. Sarah graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University, before going onto further studies in Tokyo, where she lived and worked for six years, and was a founding member of Miki Art and Design Collective.
Sarah has been exhibiting her work since graduation and teaching for many years, enjoying sharing her expertise in many mediums with students.

Teacher and Director of Melbourne Art Class, Marco Corsini, will present a Watercolour Workshop for children to discover and explore watercolour painting techniques. Students will be introduced to basic watercolour painting techniques such as colour mixing, laying washes, colour glazing and lifting out.
