Abstraction Workshop for Teens with Samara Adamson-Pinczewski

An introductory workshop for Teens by a leading Australian abstract artist. Students will be introduced to the historical context of abstraction and its development. They will also explore the following elements using collage and other media.

• Colour contrast, harmony and discord.
• Positive and negative space
• Intuition, gesture and risk

Samara Adamson-Pinczewski abstract geometric work has featured in more than 90 exhibitions and she has participated in several international residencies. Her work can be found in major private and public collections throughout Australia. Adamson-Pinczewski is represented by Charles Nodrum gallery. Her paintings and sculptures explore the experience of architecture and urban space.
