Saffron will take students in school grades 8 to 12 through the fundamentals of drawing the portrait. Saffron will use plaster head busts to demonstrate a structural approach to drawing the face. She will discuss how to accurately structure a face and how to perceive tone, form and colour in the face.

Teens Portraiture Drawing Workshop
- Date: Wednesday 5th July, 2023
- Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (3 hours)
- Location: MAC Elgin Studio – Level 1, 73 Burwood Road, Hawthorn
- Course fee: $109 inc. GST

Teens will be guided and supported whilst creating their own artworks. Suitable for all skill levels. Places will be limited to ensure Saffron can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.
Saffron Newey is a Melbourne-based painter who has been exhibiting for 30 years and is included in various private and public collections in Australia and abroad. She has been a finalist in multiple Australian prizes for landscape and contemporary painting. {Source: Saffron Newey}
