Teacher and Director of Melbourne Art Class, Marco Corsini, will present a watercolour workshop.
Students will be introduced to basic watercolour painting techniques such as colour mixing, laying washes, colour glazing and lifting out.
Marco will also explore the basic materials and equipment of watercolour such as a selection of basic colours in pans or tubes, brushes, watercolour papers, palettes and accessories.
We maintain small class sizes to ensure Marco can offer one-on-one tuition, especially for those students who have more experience in watercolour painting and want to explore different techniques and compositions.
Students will create several works experimenting with techniques that are discussed and demonstrated during class and will also be invited to create compositions inspired by landscape, foliage, abstract ideas, or patterns, in a relaxed and collaborative environment.

An ideal beginner to intermediate class. Marco will take you on a drawing journey each week. He will introduce significant historical drawings and their techniques which are demonstrated while you follow along in your home studio. Marco will support you draw by providing encouragement and feedback, and will ensure beginners receive the right amount of foundational guidance also.
