Join us for three hours of creative fun, learning all the basic techniques used in the art of Macramé and create a plant hanger to take home!
Macramé dates back to the 13th century, but is most well known for its popularity in the 70s. Now its made a comeback and is being transformed and creatively expressed in a whole new way.
Not only will you learn about the origins and history of Macramé, you will get to practice tying all the basic knots and create a stylish and modern plant hanger all of your own.
Amy Osborne, founder and designer of the label “Forget Me Knot”, creates stunning, modern plant hangers with her signature use of colourful materials.
During the workshop, Amy will introduce you to:
- Materials used in Macramé
- Basic knot tying
- How to create a plant hanger using Macramé
All materials are included in the course fee, and at the end of the course you will have a stunning plant hanger to take home. Classes will be restricted to about ten places to ensure one-on-one tuition.
