This course is not a series of recorded videos, rather it is an online version of our usual Studio Art Classes. The program, Zoom, that we will be using allows students to interact with each other as well as with Marco to collaboratively explore studio art practice.

“I found the course stimulating, educational, fun and inspiring. I thought the content was well structured and covered fundamental knowledge of drawing. Materials provided were generous and fun to work with. Thank you for your time and instruction Marco.” – Georgia, 2019
“Marco is a lovely man & obviously enjoys passing on his knowledge to people who are interested in learning to draw. Very hard to get everything right for people who are on different pathways- Marco was able to keep everyone interested & involved.” – Bebe, 2019
“Marco is a gifted and patient teacher who did not micromanage in any way. He was easy to talk to and guided without any arrogance. Thank you, Marco, for sharing your talent and love for art with us.” – Sarah, 2018
“Marco showed the ability to accommodate all of our needs with kindness and a willingness to spend the time to push through. Marco showed that he is flexible enough to handle anyone with respect.” – Roz, 2018
“I really loved that Marco was not intimidating or condescending, which often happens with teaching artists. He freely gave his knowledge, in a nice way, that encouraged us all. I don’t really like structure in art but will be using his technique, knowing how well it works. Marco made it fun and easy to understand. I like his style of teaching. I can easily implement what I have learned, into my practice. Thanks so much, Marco for your kindness with this class.
“I really enjoyed the class. As a complete beginner, it was not intimidating and I learnt a lot. Loved watching Marco draw the head and still life objects. Great to see all the techniques put together in a practical experience, especially since he talked through his actions and thought processes. Also just enjoyable to watch an expert at work :-)” – Caroline, 2017
