Artist Coaching and Mentoring
Melbourne Art Class offers private artist coaching and mentoring for those with a busy schedule, or who want to work outside of our scheduled classes in a one-on-one environment. For remote or international students, these sessions can be undertaken using Zoom.

At Melbourne Art Class, we understand that not everyone’s timetable neatly aligns with our class timings. That’s why we offer private artist coaching and mentoring sessions, ideal for those with busy routines or seeking personalized guidance outside our regular classes. These one-on-one sessions provide tailored support in a focused environment, accommodating even remote or international students through Zoom sessions.
Here’s what to expect from our coaching and mentoring sessions:
Each package is customised to suit the specific needs of individual students. To get started, simply complete the form below and share up to three images of your artwork. This helps us understand your style and goals better.
In addition to in-session guidance, coaching may include follow-up tasks or ‘homework’ to further develop your skills. Your mentor will also maintain regular email communication, offering ongoing support and feedback to aid your progress.
Notably, these sessions are also conducted remotely via Zoom, ensuring accessibility regardless of location, and are conducted entirely in English.

Marco Corsini
Marco Corsini, founder, and Director of Melbourne Art Class will be your coach and mentor, bringing several decades of experiences as a painter, sculptor and filmmaker. You can find out more about Marco here.

You will explore fundamental techniques and tools and refine your drawing skills with this extremely experienced tutor.

Take a deep dive into the landscape and the classical techniques used by contemporary painter Saffron Newey. She will lead you though the fundamentals of Grisaille, and demonstrate how artists such as Da Vinci, Titian, Vermeer and Rembrandt created such memorable work. A great course for beginners and those that are wanting to improve their painting.

18 April - 27 June 2024 (10 sessions) (no class April 25)
The studio-based art class for adults that mixes personalised tuition with a program of short presentations. A wide range of mediums are available, including drawing and painting in both oils and acrylics. It would be suitable for anyone who is interested in a class that develops observational skills and fundamental artistic skills while maintaining a degree of flexibility for creativity.
