'Animals, Movement, and Abstraction' illustration and watercolour workshop for grades 3 to 8. Led by artist Amanda Weatherlake, explore animal characters, dynamic movement, and abstraction techniques. The workshop focuses on the development of key foundational techniques for illustration and watercolour. The children will be guided and supported whilst creating their own African animal characters. Suitable for all skill levels, this class is a good balance of the technical and creative.

Olivia will take students in school grades 8 to 12 through the fundamentals of sketching animals, watercolour and gouache painting and colours, before supporting students in creating a Butterfly and Insect character of their own. Students will work on facial expressions, gestures, fun props and even jaunty hats and accessories, to create characters unique to their own imagination.
