During the term, we sometimes have mini-lectures on a particular art movement, genre or technique. This course introduces the key elements and techniques of abstraction and will help beginner students, and artists who would like to revisit the fundamentals.

Students will be introduced to basic watercolour painting techniques such as colour mixing, laying washes, colour glazing and lifting out, to set the foundation for watercolour painting.
