Contemporary painter Saffron Newey will lead you through the fundamentals of Grisaille, and demonstrate how artists such as Da Vinci, Titian, Vermeer and Rembrandt created such memorable work. These are specialised courses in painting and drawing for children in school grades 6 to 10. They are ongoing courses which focus on the development of foundational techniques for painting and drawing, combined with a mentoring style support for children producing their own artwork. Participants can work in the drawing or painting media of their choice.
