Establishing a painting practice? Then imagine being able to meet weekly with one of Australia’s most highly awarded contemporary painters and that the entire class is focused upon contemporary painting, what is it, and how is it practiced.
Taking place in MAC’s new Union St, Armadale studio, this course combines some theory with weekly studio practice. The program is a studio-based class that mixes personalised tuition with a program of short presentations. A wide range of mediums are available but you are welcome to bring your own.
The program is based on a school term and is open to students from senior secondary school age onwards.
*Basic materials are included in the course fee, however, ongoing students will be encouraged to put together a materials kit. Materials lists are available.
