Our carefully selected life models, guided by the Life Models’ Society guidelines, provide a diverse range of subjects, from nude to costumed sessions. Led by our dedicated and experienced instructors, you’ll refine your skills and gain a deeper understanding of anatomy, composition, and artistic expression.

Melbourne Art Class welcomes award-winning sumi-e (Japanese Ink) artist, Junko Azukawa to host a three hour Hanko Seal Carving workshop.
Lovers of traditional Japanese art will be familiar with the red stamp or seal often seen on paintings or documents. This seal is used in place of a signature and forms an important part of traditional Japanese culture.

How did some of the greatest artists of all time begin a painting? Contemporary painter Saffron Newey will lead you though the fundamentals of Grisaille, and demonstrate how artists such as Da Vinci, Titian, Vermeer and Rembrandt created such memorable work. A great course for beginners and those that are wanting to improve their painting.
