2 day Oil Painting Workshop with Marco Corsini
MAC Founder Marco Corsini (VCA), a seasoned artist with a passion for nurturing young talent, will be offering an enriching and comprehensive oil painting course designed specifically for teenagers. In this course, Marco Corsini will impart his expertise and guide budding artists through the fundamental stages of creating captivating oil paintings.
During the course
Students will delve into a wide range of oil painting techniques, gaining hands-on experience. By working from various subjects, including still life compositions, photographic images and plaster casts. Marco Corsini’s teachings will provide a holistic understanding of the art form, covering not only the practical aspects but also the historical developments, diverse styles, and intricate technical facets of oil painting.
One of the highlights of the course is the exploration of classical underpainting and glazing techniques. These traditional methods have been favoured by renowned painters throughout history, and Marco will ensure that students grasp the nuances and secrets of these time-honoured techniques.
