This workshop gives an opportunity for parents and guardians to experience a watercolour and gouache workshop with their child during the holidays. The workshop is taught by Olivia York, a Melbourne-based artist and illustrator who specialises in watercolour illustration.
Suitable for all abilities, Illustrator Olivia York will help you capture the unique personality of your pet with a one of a kind watercolour or gouache pet portrait. Simply bring in an A5 or A4 print out of your pet or choose from photos provided.
The workshop focuses on the development of key foundational techniques for illustration and watercolour. Children and parents will be guided and supported whilst creating their own artworks.
Olivia strives to help build creative confidence and technical ability. Places will be limited to ensure Olivia can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.
Olivia York is a Melbourne-based artist and illustrator, with a passion for Australiana. She creates witty and whimsical watercolour animal characters, which have been featured in books, packaging, homewares and even a food truck.
Her products have been featured in several tv shows, books and magazines including Better Homes and Gardens, Frankie magazine and Koala (Thames & Hudson). Olivia has collaborated with such brands as House, Lalaland, Nutella and Auspost.
