Teens: Painting Portraiture Grisaille, Acrylics and Oils with Saffron Newey (School Grades 8-12)

A watercolour workshop with a 'Flowers and Plants' theme, designed for school children in Grades 3 to 8 and taught by Olivia York. Olivia is a Melbourne-based artist and illustrator who specialises in watercolour and Australiana illustration.

These unique drawing workshops are taught by artist, teacher and MAC founder, Marco Corsini. Focusing on the drawing fundamentals of portraiture, students will be introduced to powerful drawing techniques that will be of great benefit to developing artists.

This workshop gives an opportunity for parents and guardians to experience a watercolour and gouache workshop with their child during the holidays. The workshop is taught by Olivia York, a Melbourne-based artist and illustrator who specialises in watercolour illustration.

Olivia will take students in school grades 3 to 8 through the fundamentals of sketching animals, watercolour painting, gouache and colours, before supporting students in creating an animal or bird character of their own.

Dragen, Faeries and mystical creatures will be the subject matter of these workshops, nurturing creativity and skill development in sketching, watercolour painting, and illustration, culminating in personalised magical artworks.

This unique drawing masterclass for Children will be taught by artist, teacher and MAC founder, Marco Corsini.  Drawing fundamentals, understanding light & form and the perception of a three-dimensional world, training the brain to see.
