Artist Coaching and Mentoring
Melbourne Art Class offers private artist coaching and mentoring for those with a busy schedule, or who want to work outside of our scheduled classes in a one-on-one environment. For remote or international students, these sessions can be undertaken using Zoom.
Description
At Melbourne Art Class, we understand that not everyone’s timetable neatly aligns with our class timings. That’s why we offer private artist coaching and mentoring sessions, ideal for those with busy routines or seeking personalized guidance outside our regular classes. These one-on-one sessions provide tailored support in a focused environment, accommodating even remote or international students through Zoom sessions.
Here’s what to expect from our coaching and mentoring sessions:
Each package is customised to suit the specific needs of individual students. To get started, simply complete the form below and share up to three images of your artwork. This helps us understand your style and goals better.
In addition to in-session guidance, coaching may include follow-up tasks or ‘homework’ to further develop your skills. Your mentor will also maintain regular email communication, offering ongoing support and feedback to aid your progress.
Notably, these sessions are also conducted remotely via Zoom, ensuring accessibility regardless of location, and are conducted entirely in English.

The program is a studio-based class that mixes personalised tuition with a program of short presentations. A wide range of mediums are available, including drawing and painting in both oils and acrylics. Our Studio Art Courses are the foundation of Melbourne Art Class. In these classes you have the freedom to work on your own projects, or our Still Life display with guidance from an experienced teacher and professional artist. During the term, we sometimes have mini-lectures on a particular art movement, genre or technique. We welcome all skills levels, from complete beginners, to experienced artists who need a space and dedicated time to create.
