Join Junko Azukawa to learn various brush techniques, calligraphy styles, stroke order and balance of Japanese characters. You will also be introduced to the history of Japanese calligraphy and the meaning of Japanese characters.

Melbourne Art Class welcomes award-winning sumi-e (Japanese Ink) artist, Junko Azukawa to host a three hour Hanko Seal Carving workshop. Lovers of traditional Japanese art will be familiar with the red stamp or seal often seen on paintings or documents. This seal is used in place of a signature and forms an important part of traditional Japanese culture.
