Into the Sea – Explore creatures of the deep with Watercolour
Level: Beginner/Intermediate/All levels
Ages: This workshop is for children in School Grades 3 to 6
Aside from being fun, painting sea animals allows young artists to explore movement and vibrant marine colours. Watercolour is ideal for capturing the flowing forms and textures of sea creatures, as well as the soft gradients and luminous quality of underwater light.
This workshop combines observation with artistic expression, often resulting in works that are both beautiful and educational.
As an art conservator, Catalina is knowledgeable in the technical and historical aspects of Watercolour painting and will reference some of these aspects of the painting practice.
We maintain small class sizes to ensure Catalina can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.
