Ages: This workshop is suitable for Teens in school grades 7-12
Costumed drawing is an artistic practice where models pose wearing elaborate or themed clothing, allowing artists to study the human figure along with the textures, folds, and movement of fabric. This form of drawing combines the challenge of capturing anatomy with the added complexity of costume design and storytelling.
Participants will work from observation of a costumed and acrobatic model to learn the fundamental elements of drawing the figure, fabric and textures. It is a unique opportunity for participants to get instruction from an accomplished artist, figure drawer and teacher.
