A great opportunity for Young teens to be introduced to effective observational drawing techniques with a focus on the perception of a three-dimensional world.
Observational drawing is a core skill in art education and practice. It sharpens the artist’s ability to see, with participants learning to notice subtle relationships between forms, shifts in light, and the way space operates in three dimensions.
This kind of helps participants develop accuracy, confidence, and a deeper understanding of form and structure.
This workshop will be taught by experienced Artist and Teacher Catalina Leichner.
About Catalina
Catalina Leichner is an Argentinian artist from Buenos Aires who specialises in watercolour and oil painting. She holds a Bachelor in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage – UMSA (University of the Argentinian Social Museum). Catalina has worked as a restorer and conservator for National Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aries for the past 7 years and has also run regular watercolour workshops.
