A foundational course by artist and art conservator, Catalina Leichner, focusing on the application of gouache and watercolour.

The course will lead through the development of key foundational techniques for gouache and watercolour media. As an experienced watercolour teacher, Catalina aims to build confidence and help experiment with techniques that are discussed and demonstrated during class. Participants will have the opportunity to apply them to the artwork they create.

As a art conservator, Catalina is knowledgable in the technical and historical aspects of Watercolour painting and will reference these aspects of the painting practice.

We welcome all skills levels, from complete beginners, to more experienced artists who need a space and dedicated time to create. We maintain small class sizes to ensure Catalina can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.
