Melbourne Art Class is proud to offer the Studio Practice in Abstraction Short Course, led by renowned Australian contemporary abstract artist Samara Adamson-Pinczewski. As a valued member of our teaching faculty, Samara brings her extensive expertise to this course, which is solely dedicated to abstract art studio practice.
This course expands on key elements and techniques of abstraction and will help students further their forays into abstraction. Also well suited to artists who would like to deepen and expand on their practice of abstraction. Samara will provide a historical and theoretical context for abstraction as you progress through the sessions, and touch on contemporary art contexts.
A wide range of mediums are available, including drawing and painting in acrylics.
Classes sizes are limited to ensure one-on-one tuition.
Samara Adamson-Pinczewski abstract geometric work has featured in more than 90 exhibitions and she has participated in several international residencies. Her work can be found in major private and public collections throughout Australia. Adamson-Pinczewski is represented by Charles Nodrum gallery. Her paintings and sculptures explore the experience of architecture and urban space.

This is an introduction to watercolour and gouache intensive taught by Catalina Leichner, Argentinian artist and Art Conservator who specialises in watercolour illustration.
Catalina will introduce students to key foundational techniques for using gouache and watercolour media. Catalina will offer personalised assistance informed by the participants individual illustration goals.
