Landscape in Watercolour and Gouache Short Course with Anna Parry

4 Week Course:
Explores the fundamentals of landscape painting in watercolour and gouache, with a focus on capturing light, atmosphere, and a sense of place.
During this Landscape in Watercolour and Gouache short course, you will develop observational drawing skills while working through a range of natural landscapes. You will also learn how to build depth and composition and balance expressive mark-making with more refined details such as trees, rocks, and natural elements.
About Anna
Anna is an experienced art educator, having worked in both Primary and Secondary schools. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Fine Art and a Graduate Diploma of Education as well as a Master’s of Fine Art. She is a practising artist specialising in botanical watercolour painting and has been represented in exhibitions such as The Art of Botanical Illustration at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Melbourne. Anna also works as a freelance artist and illustrator and has been awarded several prizes and scholarships, including the Galloway Lawson Acquisitive Prize for Painting.
