Sunday afternoon workshop

Spend an afternoon exploring colour in our Discover Colour: A Creative Workshop, and being introduced to and understanding some key colour theory. Presented by Australian contemporary abstract artist Samara Adamson-Pinczewski who is extremely knowledgeable in the technical and historical aspects of colour. This is a great opportunity to come to terms with colour and explore mixing, composition and emotional aspects of colour through practical exercises.

Artists throughout history have used colour to evoke mood, create balance, and express meaning in their work. Colour theory, which includes concepts like the colour wheel, complementary colours, and warm versus cool tones, helps explain how different hues interact and affect visual harmony. Colour remains a universal language that adds depth and meaning to the world around us.

We welcome complete beginners and more experienced artists. We maintain small class sizes to ensure Samara can offer one-on-one tuition for each student.

Materials are provided.
