Description

MAC welcomes contemporary figurative painter, Saffron Newey to our teaching team. Saffron will be teaching a Teens Studio Art class on Tuesday afternoons at our new Malvern Studio. The focus of this particular class is to help teens develop an understanding of their own conceptual thought and creative inclinations and translate those into an art process. The aim is to build these elements into a cohesive folio to aid senior secondary and pre-tertiary study.
Saffron currently lectures for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) at RMIT University and has been awarded a Ph.D in Fine Art. Saffron’s experience as a tutor and lecturer in art education spans 25 years. You can find out more about Saffron at Jan Manton Gallery or here.
Class numbers will be restricted to ensure one-on-one tuition.
