Introduction to Painting Short Course
Level: Beginner / Intermediate
Ages: This course is designed for adults
(Art students aged 15 – 17 may be able to attend, please contact to discuss suitability)

- Dates: Saturday Mornings: 2 May – 30 May 2026
- Time: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
- Location: MAC Union Studio | Level 1, 85 Union Street, Armadale
During this course, artist and MAC founder Marco Corsini will introduce you to:
- Underpainting
- Composition
- Value (light and dark)
- Colour
- Painting techniques
This course works with oil paints and all materials are provided. Places are limited to ensure one-on-one tuition.
About Marco
Marco Corsini (B.Ed. MCA UniMelb/VCA) is a landscape and figure painter and the founder of Melbourne Art Class. He has exhibited in both Australia and Europe. He has been a finalist in several awards including the Rick Amor Drawing Prize. Marco was the Chief judge for the 2021 Camberwell Art Prize. He has run workshops and creative programs for companies such as the Coles group, Officeworks and Google Europe, Asia and America.
