About Art Therapy: Art therapy is for self-exploration, as no-one else can interpret your artwork; only you know what you think and feel and express through the art. Art Therapy is for creative and personal expression, well suited to anyone who wants to slow down and connect with their inner self, with others and with their surroundings. No creative ability is required for Art Therapy, and you do not require any prior art making knowledge or experience.
About ‘Creative Connections’: A 5-week art therapy experience where we’ll explore the transformative power of creativity, expression, and shared reflection. Led by experienced creative art therapist Jaana Sahling, this immersive experience invites participants to explore their artistic expression, reflection, and shared exploration in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Throughout the course, participants will engage in various intuitive and expressive art-making activities, each aimed at unlocking creativity and fostering personal growth.
From playful experimentation to reflective introspection, each session offers opportunities for all participants to express themselves authentically, and connect with others in the group.
“Creative Connections” welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and artistic abilities. Whether you’re an experienced artist or new to art therapy, this group provides a welcoming space where you can freely express yourself, share your experiences, and connect with others on a meaningful level.
Join us as we explore together the experience of creativity, reflection, and shared discovery in “Creative Connections.”
Classes places are limited to ensure one-on-one guidance.
Jaana Sahling is a specialist in the creative process and holds an MA in Experiential and Creative Arts Therapy (MIECAT) and a BA in Fine Arts (Nottingham Trent).
