Around the World Workshop – New Zealand

Level: Beginner/Intermediate/All levels
Ages: This workshop is for children in School Grades 3 to 5

Workshop

Embark on an artistic journey through the breathtaking landscapes and glaciers of Patagonia, where children will explore the dramatic scenery and unique wildlife of this remarkable region. Using watercolour and mixed media, students will experiment with colour, texture, and layering to create imaginative depictions of Patagonia’s mountains, glaciers, and wild landscapes while gaining a deeper appreciation for its extraordinary natural beauty.

Catalina Leichner is an Argentinian artist from Buenos Aires who specialises in watercolour and oil painting.  She holds a Bachelor in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage – UMSA (University of the Argentinian Social Museum). Catalina has worked as a restorer and conservator for National Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aries for the past 7 years and has also run regular watercolour workshops.
