The Drawing short course tutored by artist, Jesse Dayan. Jesse introduces various strategies and techniques for drawing from Still Life and the Figure. This course will assist beginners in developing fundamental drawing techniques. The course is also well suited to people with some drawing experience who want to re-establish the foundations of their practice. Each session will focus on particular skills and techniques. Most of the drawing will be observational from Still Life with two sessions working from a Life Model (undressed). Classes are held in Enderby studio, a historic church hall at 314 Church Street, Richmond.

Recent Feedback about this course
“I would definitely recommend this course to others, it was a great experience for me and I thought Jesse was a fantastic teacher. All the students had different skills and levels and he all made us feel comfortable in the class. I definitely feel I have made some progress with this 5 week course, and would love to continue, probably next year though.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Jesse has a fantastic teaching style, especially for someone who is a total beginner (i.e. I haven’t drawn since primary school!). He tailored feedback to suit each individual without making anyone feel judged, which I think is important for those people who don’t consider themselves ‘naturally’ creative.”
